My names Sophie, I’m 22 and based in the UK. My blog Sophie’s Suitcase is a travel and lifestyle blog with a focused interested in culture, food and experiencing the world. From planning my next trip abroad to forging new relationships with companies across the globe, I am always working on a new project or offering advice to share with my readers. When I’m not attached to her laptop I enjoys long hikes in the countryside, reading travel magazines, cooking pasta carbonara and drinking wine. Possibly all at the same time. It’s a good read for anyone who’s interested in backpacking, travel and wanting to realise their travel dreams!

For those who don’t know you, introduce yourself and your blog

Hey everyone! I’m Alexa, adrenaline junkie, wild child and travel blogger at shetellstraveltales.com. I’ve been traveling for (almost!) a year and am currently based out of Chiang Mai, Thailand. I spend my days writing in cafes, going on adventures and hunting for the best bubble tea in town.

Hi World! I'm Alyssa Ramos from MyLifesAMovie.com, a fun and quirky travel and lifestyle blog that gives a different spin on your typical travel tips and stories!

2. Are you a light packer or an overpacker, what one thing won’t you leave the house without?

I WAS an over-packer until I attempted going around the world with way too many clothes! Now I'm pretty much a professional light-packer and try to only bring enough for the amount of days I'm going, although I often cheat and use Travel Space Bags to fit more than I'm supposed to. I won't leave the house without a few things for a trip...my laptop, iPhone/camera, CHARGERS, mascara & lipgloss, black Harvey's seatbelt bag, black maxi dr…

Meet Mavis!

Image
Waaaay back in November I told y'all that I passed my driving test. My aim being to pass it before I moved to the Arctic, and then giving me 4 months to buy the dream camper van and move to the continent with the dog working and driving around. As y'all all also already know I didn't quite manage that dream because I met a boy, and life has a funny way of throwing those sorts of things at you. When your plans get messed up it's because God's got something better for you, right? Sean's definitely better, haha, I need to stop getting soppy on the blog in case he reads it. I also mentioned, after mentioning all the above that I would probably be in the market for buying a car....

Traveller Tuesday with Barb of Timeshare Traveling

1. For those who don’t know you, introduce yourself and your blog

Hi, I’m Barb and my blog is TimeshareTraveling.com. Although 95% travel and very little about timeshares, the name really goes to the style of travelling that my husband and I love. I will NOT try to sell you a timeshare, so remove your finger from that back button right now! I am a baby boomer who has loved to travel since childhood, and some say that love has become an obsession. I created this blog to share my travels and photos in hopes of inspiring others to travel, with the tagline “Live vicariously through my travels, while you’re in-between yours.”

Although we will still never even get close to travelling as much as a lot of bloggers out there, my husband and I are nearing that golden age when we plan to se…

My Glastonbury Festival Packing List

Image
Confession
It's confession time kids, in my 27 and a quarter years, I have never camped. At least never in a tent. I think I've written this on my blog somewhere before, but that doesn't lead to me feeling particularly optimistic about camping at Glastonbury festivals. Particularly when it's a festival known for its wash out. On top of that, the forecast for the day we were due to pitch our homes was not great. And we're staying for around seven weeks- with 6 to go when you read this. In tents, in fact, below is mine.

Stunned by Salford Quays

Having never visited Manchester, except it's airport, before meeting Sean he made it his mission to show me around his home town. In general, I fell in love with Manchester, it is everything the exact opposite of where I live. His town has several pubs, and shops and buses that go to town (the city centre) every 7 minutes. You can get anywhere pretty quickly and easily, with no need for a car or anything. That said the place I loved visiting the most was Salford Quays.

Traveller Tuesday with Jackie of Bred to Roam

1. For those who don’t know you, introduce yourself and your blog

My name is Jackie and along with my husband, Daniel, we publish the blog Bred to Roam. We started the blog in Oct 2014 after we got married, quit our jobs, sold all our belongings, and departed for a two year adventure. The plan is to spend the first year exploring the world and the second year to live and work in Australia where I have family. Although the blog idea originated as a way to keep our friends and family updated on our whereabouts, we realized early on that we have so much to share with other travellers looking to embark on similar adventures and so the blog has grown
